Dr. Osterbauer is an Advanced Proficiency Rated Activator Chiropractor and a Certified Posture Education Professional®. He is Professor Emeritus and Adjunct Faculty at Northwestern Health Sciences University where he has taught for over 25 years. He is excited to bring his expertise and experience to help support your health and well-being.
A 1986 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic, he received his Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Washington in 1993. After working with Dr. Fuhr, founder of Activator Methods International, for 10 years in Arizona, Dr. Osterbauer relocated to Texas to continue chiropractic research at the Texas Back Institute. He returned to Minnesota in 1998 to teach and research at Northwestern Health Sciences University (formerly Northwestern College of Chiropractic).
In the Methods Department of Northwestern Health Sciences University, he developed & taught courses in Geriatrics and participated in an interprofessional Geriatric Residency pilot program. He also taught Evidence Based Programming to strengthen posture, developed by Dr. Stephen Weiniger of BodyZone®.
In his free time, Dr. Paul enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, music, and being outdoors.
